Pupil Premium

What is Pupil Premium?

Pupil Premium is a grant that is given to schools to increase the attainment gap of disadvantaged children. This is based on research showing children from specific backgrounds and/or low income families perform less well at school than their peers. 

Who is Eligible for Pupil Premium?

  • Children who have a parent in HM Forces
  • Children who have a parent who have died whilst serving in the Armed Forces and is eligible for Armed Forces
  • Children who have been adopted 
  • Children who have alternative care provisions such as a Child Arrangements Order, Special Guardianship Order or Residency Order 

If you think your child may be eligible, please contact the school office to check eligibility as this funding is vital for school to be able to offer children added support. 

 

Early Years Pupil Premium

Early Years Pupil Premium may be available for children aged 2-4. 

The criteria is very similar to that of main school Pupil Premium.  If you believe your child may be eligible, please do not hestitate to get in touch.
